In fact, many employees do not even realize the jokes, derogatory remarks, and other offensive conduct or behavior they have been experiencing is actually considered sexual harassment under the eyes of the law. There is a possible claim if a supervisor or co-worker makes unwanted sexual advances, offers employment benefits in exchange for sexual favors, makes sexually explicit comments, remarks and jokes, displays sexually suggestive pictures, objects or posters and touches, assaults or impedes someone’s movement.
